What is an Infographic?

An infographic is a collection of images, charts, and text that lead to easy comprehension of a subject and can be used for quick reminders. It does not provide an in-depth analysis, however, it should provide a good overview of a topic and the most important points that go along with it.
What are some Pros and Cons?​

Pros
- An infographic provides quickly accessible information so it is easy to find quick reminders through them.
- It is a great way to get a quick overview of a subject without too much in-depth research.

Cons
- If they are formatted poorly, they can be hard to follow.
- They do not provide in-depth information on a topic.
How Can Infographics Be Used in the Classroom?

In the classroom, an infographic can be used as a cheat sheet for students so that they can have easy access to basic information on a topic. This can be seen in the example to the left where an infographic is being used to provide basic information on the Branches of Government.
